Hi could someone help me with the sign star and diamond -- i have not been signing for long (getting myself in to a bit of a muddle) just want to know I am doing it correctly.

"N" hands and thumbs (palms forward, pointing up) at head height; fingers and thumb open and close alternately while making small upward movement several times.
Diamond
Working bunched hand on third finger of supporting hand springs up turning to open hand (palm back, pointing up).

Can I add to Richard's reply that you should NOT make a sort of diamond shape with thumbs and forefingers - if it's done wrongly it's a very rude BSL sign.
